Artist-Run Centres & Collectives of Ontario (ARCCO) is a professional provincial arts service organization that fosters the network and supports the growth and development of artist directed organizations engaged in contemporary cultural practice.
This includes centres/collectives for the presentation, production, dissemination, service and investigation of contemporary art in a variety of media and multi-disciplinary work. |

• promotes the recognition of Artist-Run Centres (ARCs)throughout Ontario
• supports the development of Artist-Run Centres
• strengthens and stabilizes Artist-Run Centres throughout Ontario
• provides a communication network for Ontario Artist-Run Centres throughout Ontario
• advances the professional standards of Artist-Run Centre employees and artists throughout Ontario
• educates the public on the role of ARCs and facilitates access to the public
• provides a resource centre for artist-run collectives and centres and the public in Ontario |
